Beeston Takeover 2013

Welcome to Oxjam Beeston 2013!

Unbelievably this is the third successive year of the Oxjam Beeston Takeover. The local Oxjam team has started early this year and we have some ambitious plans to make the Beeston Takeover event on Saturday 19th October the BEST EVER OXJAM FESTIVAL.

Our aims:

  • We’d like to raise lots of dosh for Oxfam - £5,000 in fact.
  • Showcase local talent and raise the profile of local music and venues.
  • Work closely with local businesses to maximise impact for the community, for example Chilwell Road.

BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!

1)     We desperately need sponsors to be able to run the festival – if your company would like to be involved, contact michaeloxjambeeston@gmail.com and we will send you our sponsorship proposal.

2)     We need volunteers to join the Oxjam team – roles include web editor, fundraisers, technical support officers (TSOs) and venue managers. If you have some spare time and would like to help with Oxjam 2013 then please contact us using this volunteer e-form.

3)     We need your support at our fundraisers and the Oxjam Takeover itself. This involves listening to some amazing music, possibly drinking a little too much, parting with a small amount of cash and ENJOYING yourself!!!

PROGRAMME 2013 COMING SOON... INCLUDING SOME OXJAMTASTIC FUNDRAISERS!
